FAQs

No. Christ the King is a Catholic school but not being Catholic doesn’t preclude you from enrolling.

Our school fees are outlined on our Fees page.

There is always an option for families who have difficulties with fees to speak to the school and apply for remission or school card.

Not being able to afford school fees does not preclude you from a Catholic education.

Yes we do.

Religious education is at the heart of our curriculum.

Each class learns about the sacraments, the theory and tradition.  The program for the celebration of the sacraments occurs within the St Joseph’s Parish at Brighton.

It depends on the number of students at each year level in any given year.

Children come to Christ the King School with varying abilities and levels and we assess where they are in their learning and then move them forward regardless of age or year level. Composite classes provide schools with more flexibility and options to ensure even class sizes and a balance of the student's social and academic needs within and across year levels.

Our school is a member of the southern region of Catholic schools.

There are clear enrolment pathways to:

  • Sacred Heart College, Middle School - Champagnat Campus (co-ed for years 7 to 9)
  • Sacred Heart College, Senior School - Marcellin Campus (co-ed for years 10 to 12)
  • Cabra College (co-ed for years 7 to 12)
