Dispositions

Defining what is meant by the term ‘dispositions’

Learning dispositions are frequent and voluntary habits of thinking and doing – how our students think and act in the classroom.

Dispositions influence current and later learning (life-long learning).

At Christ the King School we believe that all children can flourish and grow. We will assist them to develop life-long learning skills in line with our school dispositions which include:

  • Respectful Learners who are respectful of others in play and learning.
  • Creative Learners who open their hearts and minds to possibilities.
  • Resilient Learners who have a great mindset, have a go and keep trying.
  • Curious Learners who ask questions about the world around them.
  • Independent Learners who demonstrate a readiness and willingness to learn.
