Volunteering

Our Commitment

We value parents and friends involvement wherever possible. The knowledge, skills, dedication, and time that you share with us as a volunteer is greatly appreciated.

We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment. The information below will assist in the management of your safety and the safety and protection of our students.

How to become a volunteer at Christ the King School

The front office will need to site copies of the following:

1. Your Working with Children Check (WWCC) also know as a Police Clearance.

Acceptable forms of clearance:

  • Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide – Police Check Unit.  Letter or card to be presented.
  • SA Police Officer – SAPOL Badge to be presented.
  • Australian Federal Police – AFP Badge to be presented.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) letter from the Department of Human Services. Working with children checks for volunteers are free and can be applied for online with Screening SA.

To obtain your WWCC you can bring 100 points of identification to the front office and we can start the process for you.

If you have a Department of Human Service WWCC, you can provide your certificate to the school office, and we can forward it to obtain a Catholic Clearance.

2. You will need to complete the online Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN) training and forward your completed certificate to info@christking.catholic.edu.au

3. Complete an onsite induction at the school and fill out the necessary forms from Front Office.

Volunteer Packs are available from the Front Office with further information.

If you have any queries, please contact the Front Office
